My daughter loves crafts. So much so that if crafting was a love language then that would be her primary one. Me? I like crafting, but I don’t enjoy the cleanup. I think that is why I plan on doing lots of crafts with her, but they don’t actually get done. However, this year I have resolved on making art, crafts, and baking a higher priority and I will just have to deal with the clean up.
I found an article in the most recent All You magazine and it inspired this craft. We cut out a bunch of different sized hearts with my Cricut machine and then my daughter decorated them with stickers, stamps, and markers. (My son was more interested in watching the Cricut machine cut everything out.) Then I glued a 1/4″ ribbon to the hearts with a heart on each side of the ribbon, leaving a long “tail.” We then tied up our creations after they dried around the house where ever we liked. Fairly simple and cleanup only took 6 minutes.
