Timeline Resource

I have been toying with the idea of making a timeline for myself as I continue my self-education journey with Tapestry of Grace.  I am currently in the Middle Ages (Year 2) and I have always thought how helpful it would be to have a timeline.  However, I never really found one that I liked and I know that if it involved pulling out paper or cutting pictures or anything else too time intensive then it would not get done.

Not that long ago someone posted on the TOS Crew boards about a website (http://www.dipity.com) where you can make a digital timeline.  Well, today I started playing around with it and inputting several dates that I consider to be important.  All I have to say is that, “I love it!”  It is super easy to input dates and with a quick google search I can usually find an image to upload as well.  There is also a field where you can add additional comments to your entry.

So far, it appears that the downsides include only being able to have 3 separate timelines with their free version.  Also, I can’t figure out if it is possible to print my timeline out (which is what I would really like to do when I complete it).  Still, this is certainly better than no timeline at all.
