Weekly Wrap Up

Well, things are settling down again here.  We are fairly healthy now and have begun planting our spring crops.  We sowed the peas yesterday and will be putting the potatoes in this afternoon.

Brooketopia has a post showing her dd involved in weaving.  If you have thought about introducing this craft to your child, then check out her site for a loom recommendation.

Tracy @ My Eternal Family lists why her family has decided to homeschool and most of her reasons are mine as well.

Peace Creek on the Prairie shares how she makes and uses her Homeschool Convention binder to keep her organized.  I am thinking about attending a convention this year simply to check out all of the vendors – this is a great idea to ensure that I won’t be too overwhelmed.

The Brothers H has a sweet list of mommy rules that are geared towards little girls.  I can attest to the listening part and to the manicures.

Half Dozen Mama has a great post on how motherhood is like loading a dishwasher.  This post is thought provoking and touching at the same time.
