Apologia is a rather well-known name in homeschooling circles for their creation-based science curriculums. However, the book that I received for this review is not about science and it is geared for children between the ages of 2 and 8.
From the Apologia website:
“Good Morning, God is a story about a four-year-old boy as he goes through a week with his family. This book is designed for children age one to eight years old. Ideally, this book will help your child fall in love with our heavenly Father by thinking about Him from sunrise to sunset.”
This is such a sweet story about a little boy that incorporates thoughts of God throughout his day for a week (Sunday to Sunday). There are also scripture references that you could incorporate into your readings if you wish to make this into a small unit study instead of just a read-aloud. In addition, there are several suggested questions that you could ask your dc that corresponds to each day of the week in the story.
Overall, I think that this book would make an excellent gift to give your family or another. If you have a child that loves to color, then be sure to check out the coloring book ($4.00) that goes along with the story.
I received a free copy of this book from Apologia in order to give you my honest opinion as a member of the TOS Crew. No additional compensation was received.
