I had started out with the best of intentions, of course, but was derailed by life. It seems like my little ds hit another growth spurt and was waking up in the middle of the night wanting to eat. I can’t tell you how much that throws my day off. I so very much envy any woman who can handle those things in stride, but I have always been one to need a full 8-9 hours of sleep every night.
I usually do my readings in the evening, but every evening this week I was just too tired to think clearly enough to read anything. So, I did not make any headway on the Aeneid or in the Bible. My dd didn’t do much “school-related” either which was fine by me.
We did make it to the science museum on Thursday to check out the recently re-opened Discovery Room. It appears to be about the same as last year; however, I did find another book to add to our butterfly studies. Insectlopedia is full of great little poems about insects that are a joy to read. I’m going to check our library’s web catalog now for it, but I may just pick up a used copy from Amazon.
